When the word “Meron” is mentioned, many images conjure up in one’s mind. Images of thousands of fervent mispallelim beseeching Hashem at the holy gravesite of Reb Shimon bar Yachai. Images of euphoric dancing around blazing bonfires outside the maarah. And images of Segulas Rashbi doling out mounds of food, beverages and nourishment to the countless guest.
R’ Chaim Leib Weiss, founder of Segulas Rashbi is dedicated to the thousands of annual Meron visitors. R’ Chaim Leib was the first to truly understand the visitors’ needs. In years preceding the foundation of Segulas Rashbi, wine, grape juice and fruit punch were the only beverages provided. R' Chaim Leib then launched the distribution of refreshing cold water to quench the guests’ thirsts. The long lines speak for themselves.
The allocation of Chai Rotel Mashke – literally eighteen measurements of fluid – on Lag Be’omer, has been proven as a powerful segulah for health, parnassah, shidduchim and zera shel kayama. Thousands upon thousands of Yidden have witnessed its potency. Various organizations offer the merit of Chai Rotel for a steep cost. However, R’ Chaim Leib stepped in and reduced the rate, enabling so many more of klal Yisroel to afford the cost and merit the tremendous segulahs of Chai Rotel.

Promptly, R’ Chaim Leib sprang into action and rented a space across Halpern’s Hotel, where refreshing cold water was distributed, effecting immense gratitude for this incredible breakthrough.

With this brilliant solution, our esteemed elders are respectfully driven up to the tzaddik’s kever.
